We’re Hiring: Join the Jewellers Academy Community Support Team (Part Time, Remote work opportunity)

We have a vacancy on the Jewellers Academy team. We’re recruiting for a Customer Services & Student Support Community Advisor (Part-Time, Remote) to support our growing community of jewellery-making students.

This is a part-time, remote role, working on set days each week. Working hours are flexible and can be agreed.

Working days and hours:

  • Thursday – 5 hours

  • Friday – 4–5 hours

  • Saturday – 2–3 hours

    Please note: this role requires availability on the days listed above in order to provide customer service to our community. Please only apply if you are able to commit to these set days each week.

This role is ideal for you if you:

  • Have extensive customer service skills and strong administration experience

  • Are highly organised, efficient, and have excellent attention to detail

  • Have a positive, can-do attitude and are personable, caring, and compassionate

  • Are attentive to students’ needs and confident managing multiple tasks

  • Are trustworthy and reliable

  • Love jewellery making and are happy to share your knowledge and experience with our valued students

The role includes:

  • Managing the Jewellers Academy main inbox across all Academy programmes

  • Ensuring all emails and queries are responded to in a timely and professional manner

  • Liaising with all Jewellers Academy team members (Mentors, Warehouse Team, Admin Team, Social Media Team, and Facilitators)

  • Managing the Foundation course including students’ weekly emails, Facebook group posts, and payment links

  • Using Teachable, Mailchimp and Canva (training will be provided)

  • Communicating via multiple WhatsApp groups to share and relay information

  • Attending regular team meetings via Zoom

  • Updating membership information, documentation, and spreadsheets within Google Docs

  • Maintaining and updating the Main Knowledge Bank and Process Documents

  • Confident, intermediate-level experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Zoom

  • Additional ad hoc support required for busy periods

  • Holiday cover for Admin support team – Flexible
