An exciting opportunity has come up to work as the Operations Administrator & Assistant to the Manager of the Studio at Jewellers Academy Head Office in London. 

Are you a Jeweller looking for a part-time role?.. or have an interest in jewellery making and would love to work in this industry? As we are growing and expanding as a business, this is a phenomenal time to join our team!

This role is part-time (Permanent) 3 days per week on weekdays Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays (9am-5pm). We are flexible on the days you wish to work but Fridays is compulsory. The role is based at the fabulous Jewellers Academy Head office in trendy Forest Hill, London. We are 5 mins walk from Forest Hill station!

Salary competitive depending on level of experience.

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in Operations and Customer service as well as a minimum of 3 year’s solid experience in general administration.

The role includes answering the telephones, responding to all incoming emails, labelling, prepping and packing our Diploma kits (manual labour will be involved) mailouts, as well as assisting with stock replenishment. Collating and dealing with shipping using our main International courier and UK Postal services, post office duties for drop off, updating spreadsheets as well as creating Word docs for invoicing as well as using Stripe, Teachable and Canva. Fully competent in all Microsoft office programs as well as Outlook. There will also be general housekeeping duties and assisting with supplies and stock control.

This role is working directly with the Manager.

 

This job is for you if:

  • You have a positive, can-do attitude and have the skills set to match

  • You are trustworthy, reliable, efficient, punctual and have an excellent work ethic

  • Experience within the jewellery industry is not essential, training will be given to the right candidate

  • We require someone with excellent attention to detail, a pleasant telephone manner and can use common sense in challenging projects

  • Strong administration experience using all Microsoft office suite and Outlook.
