How to sell your handmade jewellery online

Pick somewhere to sell – You could start with a market place like Etsy or get your own website. Make sure you have lots of photos of your creations and are ready to write descriptions.

Start with simple branding - This is something that will develop as you grow but start with a few colours and a simple logo, something that ties your brand together. Our branding course can help you build your brand - Creating an Irresistible Brand For Your Jewellery Business

Don’t delay - Don’t wait until everything is perfect! Your brand will develop and grow as you do so don’t be afraid to just get started.

Share regularly - with your social media, it will take more time and effort at the start to get going. Be prepared to share often!

Packaging - if you are selling online, you will need to invest in some packaging to ship your creations. Again, this will be something that develops with you but you could start with some simple boxes with stickers or cotton bags in your brand colours.

Consider where you will ship to - Start simple with your own country and then add additional ones as your get more confident, there are often customs and regulations that you may need to consider when shipping overseas
