Your questions answered

I know this is an online course, but there are any region restrictions? Isis
There are no region restrictions, you can take this course from anywhere in the world.
If you find sourcing tools and materials difficult in your country then we do strongly recommend purchasing the tools and materials pack from us. You get what you need and we even cut the metal up for you! You can spread the cost over 18 months

I know you've listed the course schedule, but I'm in Los Angeles and was wondering what time the lectures are
The course videos are professionally filmed by a film crew and are released on a Monday. You can watch them when you are ready on your schedule.
The fortnightly Zoom Q&As with your mentor are purposely scheduled for different time zones. We ask you for your availability and match you up with a mentor group.

If I want to buy my own tools and materials (stones etc.) can you provide a list of what I’d need to buy? Arabella
Yes you can find the full tools and materials list here https://www.jewellersacademy.com/diploma-toolkit

If we ordered early when will the tools and materials kit ship so we can familiarize ourselves? Koren
We have 25 toolkits ready to ship in January for anyone who wants to start practicing. You need to pay in full for the toolkit to get one now.  Once those are gone we will have more toolkits to send out but they will be shipped nearer to the start of the course in September. Materials will also be sent out later in the year in time for the start of the course. Anyone purchasing tools and/or materials will be kept updated about when to expect their delivery.

Does everyone that completes the course end up selling jewellery as a business? Sammy
Good question! Some people complete the course because they want to invest time in their hobby. However, most people start their own jewellery businesses. Some go to work for other jewellers or work as a bench jeweller (working from their own space making for other jewellers)

How do I find out the price of the course?
There are lots of different payment options depending on what you want - tuition, toolkits and materials kits are all currently available. You can choose to pay in full or in instalments over 18 months.
You can find a full breakdown of all the payment plans on the button below, scroll down below 'what do our students say'
