Anna Mazon

Anna is an award-winning metal clay artist with over 15 years experience of making. She makes stunning intricate sculptural work in metal clay and her own work consists of mostly one-of-a-kind, dark, eclectic, experimental forms.

Her creations find customers all around the world and their photos are often published on covers of trade magazines, in interviews, thematic articles and books about jewellery. Her art has been appreciated in international competitions and she has taken part in exhibitions. Anna has taught metal clay workshops and masterclasses since 2013 in artistic studios in Europe and USA.

Julia Rai is an award-winning jeweller and one of the most experienced and qualified metal clay teachers in the UK. She has a Diploma in Art and Design and holds a range of metal clay qualifications as well as an adult education teaching qualification. Her work has been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions worldwide.

She achieved the Metal Clay Masters Registry credential at Level IV and was the first person in the world to attain this level. She is also a key figure in the Alliance for Metal Clay Artists Worldwide.

When not making, Julia runs the Metal Clay Academy, an online resource for everyone interested in metal clay and is a regular contributor to a number of UK and International jewellery making magazines. Her teaching style is relaxed and supportive and she loves to introduce beginners to this incredible material.

 

 

Tracey Spurgin

Tracey Spurgin is a qualified Senior Art Clay & PMC instructor having completed courses with Art Clay World UK, PMC Connections & Rio Rewards in America. With more than 18 years teaching experience, Tracey teaches in her own studio as well as travelling extensively in UK and Europe to deliver courses, workshops & master classes in colleges, museums, galleries & shops, as well as being a regular guest designer on Jewellery Maker TV. Tracey also exhibits at all the major crafting, jewellery & beaders events. Tracey will inspire your imagination and instill the passion and the enjoyment for working with metal clay.

 

 

Joy Funnell

Joy Funnell is a Senior Art Clay Instructor and Craftsman of the Guild of Enamellers.

She has been working with silver clay since 2006 and was an enameller prior to this.

Joy is known for her love of colour and texture and using them in her work. She is passionate about creating and teaching others the wonders of using metal clay and adding colour with enamel.

In her own jewellery, she creates one-of-a-kind and limited edition pieces.

 

 

Jessica Rose

Jessica Rose is a jewellery designer-maker and the Founder of Jewellers Academy and of the award-winning London Jewellery School, which was Europe's largest independent jewellery training company. One of her first jewellery businesses was a fingerprint jewellery business so who better to share these techniques with you. Jess is extremely passionate about jewellery making and spends most of her time supporting jewellers to run their own successful jewellery businesses.

 

 

Anna Campbell

Anna is an experienced jeweller and qualified teacher.

After starting her career as a Psychology lecturer, Anna decided she wanted some creativity in her life! She took some jewellery making classes, discovered silver clay and was hooked. Anna went on to complete the certification for the two main brands of silver clay, Art Clay and PMC and started teaching for the London Jewellery School in 2012.

Anna founded Jewellery School Scotland after moving to Edinburgh in 2017. She has taught at some high profile events including being a Jewellery Expert for Kirstie Allsopp’s Handmade Fair, and being invited to teach at the You Can Make It Metal Clay UK residential conference in 2017, 2018 and 2020 and Sinter in 2024.
