Exciting new projects on the Diploma in Fine Jewellery for 2026

Our one-year Diploma in Fine Jewellery has been running since 2021, and as we head into our sixth year, we’ve been refreshing and refilming a selection of projects and course content. One of the benefits of our Diploma programmes is that you receive lifetime updates, so whenever new material is added, it’s automatically shared with you. In this blog post, I’m excited to introduce the refreshed and brand-new content.

New for 2026 - Princess Cut Stone Setting

Taught by master stone setter Scott McIntyre, learn how to set princess cut stones.

This is a great stone setting challenge to hand make a ring with claws to set at the corners of the stones.

totem pendant

A refreshed version of a classic design, this project helps you develop your collet setting skills. Learn how to set collet square, pear and trillion cut stones to create this gorgeous statement pendant.

tennis bracelet

The rite of passage tennis bracelet has been refilmed, this time with round stones.

And don’t worry, you don’t have to make the full bracelet for assessment on this one! But you will be making six links to make a necklace or pair of earrings.

This is an amazing skill to master and takes your design possibilities to another level.
