why learning online with jewellers academy is better than attending an in-person workshop

If you're worried about learning a Diploma online I understand why. But here is why learning online with Jewellers Academy is actually BETTER than going to an in-person workshop

1. We professionally film our courses with a film crew
Every time we film one of our courses we hire a professional film crew. We've used the same crew for years and they're like family now! We usually have three camera angles to choose from and the crew includes two camera operators, a director (me!) and a sound engineer. The video is then professionally edited and step-by-step notes are written before it is shared with you

2. You can see better than you would in a class
The camera crew are experienced at getting macro super close-ups so even the smallest stone settings are clear to see

3. You can watch as often as you like
Unlike in a class where you watch something once, sometimes over someone's shoulder, and try to replicate it, you can watch as often as you like with lifetime access meaning you can go back and watch again whenever you need a refresher

4. We bring the tutors to your home
Well, not literally! But I have flown tutors in to teach for us and many travel hundreds (even thousands) of miles so you don't have to

5. One-to-one support with no interruptions
You get six 1-2-1 sessions with your mentor. Three are for giving you constructive feedback on your work and three spread through the course just for you to ask questions. This is time dedicated just for you, not hanging about waiting to catch a few minutes to chat with your tutor who has other distractions

6. We continue to re-film and refresh

This year we have re-filmed three courses from the Diploma in Silver Jewellery. These were some of the first to be filmed by Jewellers Academy and I wanted to film them again with new samples and with the filming know-how we now have.

One of the re-filmed courses is Stone Setting in Silver which has been filmed with jeweller Hayley Kruger. You can see some of the samples below.

enrol now for a diploma course

If you would like to join one of our four Diploma programs, this is a gentle reminder that the 18-month payment plan ends on Friday 9th February 2024. After that, we will have a 12-month payment plan available but, of course, the monthly payments will be higher so if spreading the cost of the course will help make it doable for you don't wait to enrol.

Right now you can also spread the cost of the tools and/or materials (where available) over 18 months.

You can find the Diploma courses listed on the button below. There are lots of pricing options depending on what you need.

Choose a Diploma and scroll to the bottom of the page until you see the pink buttons to find the payment option that's right for you.
