The brand new online course - Foundation in Silver Jewellery is here, specially crafted for beginners ready to start their journey into jewellery making.
This five-week online fully supported course takes you through some beautiful jewellery projects covering the main techniques that silver and goldsmiths need to master.

Week 1: Make a Silver Necklace: Pierced Cut-out Silver Necklace
You start by learning some of the key techniques of silver jewellery making - sawing and filing - to create a silver necklace of your own design
Week 2: Make Silver Earrings: Silver Drop Earrings
In week 2 you will practice your skills to make a pair of silver drop earrings
Week 3: Make a Silver Ring - Textured Soldered Band
It's time to make a ring! This week you will make a textured ring band and will learn how to solder - a key skill for jewellers to master
Week 4: Make a Stone Set Necklace - Cabochon Setting
Let's add some colour to your designs with a stone setting. Learn how to set gemstones into your jewellery designs starting with a cabochon necklace.
Week 5: Make a Silver Wave Ring
I love this ring design. It's simple yet so effective and very commercial if you are thinking of selling jewellery.
