Your Retreat Schedule

Let’s take a look at the programme…

DAY ONE: CLARIFY & CONNECT

10am – 12pm: The Big Picture – Vision Setting with Jess
Start the retreat by stepping back and tuning in to what you really want for your business. Jess will guide you through an energising and honest session to define your big-picture goals — both short- and long-term — and uncover what might be holding you back.

12pm – 1pm: Jewellery Quarter Inspiration Walk
We’ll take a relaxed stroll through Brighton’s buzzing jewellery quarter, soaking up ideas and chatting along the way. It’s a chance to get inspired and connect with the creative roots of your craft.

1pm – 2pm: Lunch
Take a breath and refuel. There are heaps of lovely independent cafes near to the studio or take a stroll down to the beach.

2pm – 5pm: Attracting Dream Clients and Sales Through Email with Anna
Email is one of your most powerful sales tools. No more guesswork. Anna will guide you through creating a content calendar that connects with your dream clients. You’ll start drafting content on the day — so it’s more than a plan, it’s in progress. Designed to help you build connection and make consistent sales.

6pm – 8pm: Dinner at Food for Friends
A relaxed evening meal in one of Brighton’s most-loved restaurants. Delicious vegetarian food, great company, no need to cook.

 

Day 2: Show Up & Shine

All Day: Mini Brand Photo Shoot
Each participant will have a one-to-one session with our brilliant local photographer to capture 3–5 beautiful professional images: a headshot, an action shot of you making, and a portrait with your jewellery. These are yours to use however you need — website, press, social media, and more.

10am – 1pm: Photographing Your Jewellery with Emma
Learn to take beautiful, on-brand jewellery photos with your smartphone. Emma will help you master lighting, composition, and prop styling so you can create consistent, elevated content at home without fancy kit.

1pm – 2pm: Lunch

3pm – 5pm: You Are The Brand with Kelly
Your ‘About Me’ post is usually your most viewed — and most powerful — piece of content. Kelly will guide you in creating one that’s true to you and speaks to your dream customers. Along the way, you’ll build confidence in creating reels and storytelling on Instagram.

6pm – 8pm: Dinner at The Copper Club
Another evening of relaxed connection and conversation.

Day 3: Make it Happen

10am – 1pm: First Impressions That Stick – Social Profile Makeover with Kelly
Your Instagram bio and highlights are often the first thing potential customers see — so let’s make them count. Kelly will help you revamp your profile so it speaks clearly to your dream clients and truly reflects your brand. You’ll walk away with a profile that feels fresh, clear and you.

1pm – 2pm: Lunch

2pm - 4pm: Hot Seat Coaching & Your Action Plan
Each participant will take the hot seat and receive personal feedback, ideas and next steps from Jess and the team. This is where everything comes together — you’ll leave with a clear, focused action plan tailored to you.

4pm - 5pm: Afternoon Tea
A special sweet treat in the studios to close out the retreat and say our goodbyes.

And that’s not all. 

The key to building a successful business is not knowledge - it's implementation. To help you ensure you implement all of the plans you make on the Retreat, you will have a 45-minute one-to-one accountability coaching session via Zoom with one of the team one month later. The purpose of this is to help ensure you build on the momentum you created on the Retreat, and you show up for yourself.

JESSICA ROSE

Award-winning founder of Jewellers Academy and Jewellers Academy Brighton. Bestselling author of 'Start and Grow a Profitable Jewellery Business'.

From running her own successful jewellery businesses, to founding the London Jewellery School to making a million pounds in her business took 13 years.

Jess will be on hand throughout the three days and will be running the hot seat sessions so this is your chance to pick her brains.

 
 

ANNA CAMPBELL

Award-winning founder of Jewellery School Scotland, Anna is a Business and Mindset Coach and author of the upcoming book 'Good Girl Rebellion. Build the Business, Break the Rules. Be Limitless'

Anna is the email marketing specialist for Jewellers Academy and has written emails that have made tens of thousands of pounds.

Anna will be guiding and supporting you with your email content planning.

 
 

KELLY TWIGG

Artisan Jeweller and Founder of Willow and Twigg, Kelly specialises in working with sea glass.

You may well know her from her Instagram presence, which currently has over 56k followers.

Kelly will work with you on your social media with advice and practical support.

 
 
 

Emma René

Jeweller Emma is the Founder of Narratorium, specialising in handmade contemporary jewellery with narrative and meaning.

Emma has a background as an Art Director and Marketing Executive and her training in graphic design helps make her the ideal person to help you with styling and lighting your photos (taken with a smartphone).

Retreat Location

 

Jewellers Academy Brighton

The Retreat will take place in our beautiful light-filled studios in Brighton, UK. The perfect place to recharge, surrounded by inspiration.

The studios are just moments from the sea and conveniently located in the heart of town. We are a 10 minute walk from the train station, with fast links to London (1 hour) and Gatwick Airport (30 minutes).
