What is JewelFund?

This is a fund set up in 2018 specifically for jewellers wanting to grow their jewellery business. You can apply for one of two £2000 grants to spend on a specific area of your business… and the greatest thing about grants… you don’t have to give them back (It is not a loan it is yours to keep). This is a great opportunity to get some additional funds to move your business forward to the next level.

Hello, for anyone new here, I’m Jessica Rose, I love everything jewellery and business and having set up a jewellery business myself from scratch, I know how challenging it can be when you are low on cash or need a little extra to get you to the next stage. Which is why I have created JewelFund to help jewellers on their way to creating amazing jewellery businesses.

I will be awarding two funds of £2000 to jewellers for them to use to help them grow their jewellery businesses.

What is on offer?

I will be awarding two grants of £2,000 each. Three jewellers will be awarded one £2,000 grant at the end of the application and review process.

As well as the money you will get three, one-hour business mentoring sessions throughout the year with the award-winning jewellery entrepreneur Jessica Rose to really help you grow.

Who can apply?

Applications are open to anyone

  • Over 16

  • Who has an operating jewellery business (Whether you are selling online, in shops and galleries, craft fairs etc. This year we are focussing on supporting jewellery businesses and their growth. We will not be accepting applications from those without an existing jewellery business)

  • You can be based in any country and the amount awarded will be £2,000 in GBP, you will need to cover any conversion fees

  • You must be using the funds to further your jewellery business (more about this in a bit) and we will ask you to submit receipts for purchases

  • If you have a jewellery business and an extra £2,000 would make a real difference you are perfect for this award so go ahead and apply

FAQs

I’ve recently started a business and my business isn’t registered. Can I still apply?

Yes, we are looking to support those with an existing business even if it is quite new e.g. you have started selling online or doing craft fairs. We will be looking at your online presence so having a website or social media for your business is a plus as when we’re shortlisting we’re looking to see that what you want to invest in makes sense for where your business is right now.

I think I’ve applied but I’m not sure!

When your application goes through you get a message on your screen thanking you for application. If you saw that then your application has been received. If you can’t remember drop us an email at contact@jewellersacademy.com As we are getting a lot of email contact at the moment, do expect a reply within three days.
