An exciting opportunity has come up to work at our studio (Logistics Department) in the centre of Brighton, England.
Logistics & Warehouse Administrator (Part-Time)
Location: Jewellers Academy Brighton, 69 Middle Street, Brighton BN1 1AL (just a 10-minute walk from Brighton Station)
Hours: Permanent, Part-Time, 9am -5pm (3 days per week: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday). Overtime may be available, including an additional day per week during busy periods.
Salary: £28,000–£32,000 per annum (pro rata)
Join Our Team
We're looking for a proactive, organised Logistics & Warehouse Administrator to join our friendly team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. This is a position of trust and responsibility, so we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can be relied upon to maintain high standards every day.
This is a varied role that combines warehouse operations, shipping and logistics, customer service, stock management and administration. You'll play an important role in ensuring our student kits, certificates, stock and orders are accurately prepared, dispatched and delivered, while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the department.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being organised, works methodically, and takes pride in maintaining efficient processes. Much of the work is process-driven and requires consistency, accuracy and attention to detail, so it's ideal for someone who enjoys routine and takes pride in producing high-quality work. As this is an active role, you'll also be comfortable with regular packing, lifting and moving stock in line with health and safety guidelines.
A passion for jewellery or jewellery making is a bonus, but by no means essential. We're looking for the right person with the right attitude and experience.
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, dispatch or shipping is preferred. Candidates with strong administration experience and a willingness to learn will also be considered
Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
Able to prioritise workloads and work independently.
Reliable, trustworthy, punctual and professional.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
A flexible, positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
Ability to follow instructions are essential.
