Here are the projects you make on this course and the skills you will learn.
Day 1 - Silver Stacking Rings
Day 1 starts with ring making where you will learn how to make and size a ring and how to solder
Day 2 - Silver Bar Necklace
On day 2 you will be learning how to use your jewellers saw to make a bar necklace
Day 3 - Silver Cut-Out Necklace
On day 3 you will learn how to make more complex cut out designs for a necklace, earrings or a charm
Day 4 - Silver Stacking Bangles
Day 4 is all about bangles! Learn how to shape and solder your own bangles as well as tips on hammering and texturing
Day 5 - Twisted Hoop Earrings
On day 5 you will be learning how to make twisted hoop earrings. This is a versatile project that you can make from silver or gold, make the size of hoop that you want - the possibilities are endless!
WEEKEND
Day 6 - Granulated Stud Earrings
On day 6 we are continuing with the earring theme and you’ll be learning how to make granulated stud earrings. This is a great skill to learn and the granules are always unique - great if you love organic jewellery designs
Day 7 - NEW PROJECT - Make a Wave Ring
On day seven we are back to ring making. Learn how to make this gorgeous and commercial design of wave ring
Day 8 - Gold (or Copper) Inlay Silver Pendant
On day 8 you will learn how to create an inlay in a silver design - you can choose copper or gold inlay to create your own two-tone metal creations.
Day 9 - Fused Silver Earrings
On day 9 you will learn how to fuse silver to make textured designs
Day 10 - Introduction to Claw Setting
On day 10 it’s time to learn stone setting. In this project you will learn how to claw set a cabochon gemstone of your choice (the one pictured here is a labradorite)
